Sisters Sippin’ Tea Tulsa
I’m a travel enthusiast, Independent Travel Agent, Event Planner and a Community Volunteer. I love good food, reading and good music, all genres. I am wife to George, mother to Kenon and Kendel and braggadocios Nana to five precious outstanding mini us’s. I value time with family and friends; I don’t take either for granted! I value time with George. I value time with me. I’m a Bid Whist Extraordinaire, no apologies. I love doing, going, seeing and staying home. I love meeting new people and love the solidifying messages I hear at my church on Sundays. Each new day is my best day ever!
Sheryl Dunbar Purnell
Jenks Public School educator. Loves to read and travel. Mother to three beautiful daughters, one who is currently serving in the Navy, and two awesome grandchildren. A licensed Massage Therapist who believes in the power of touch to help relieve pain, relax your muscles, reduce stress and anxiety to improve your overall health and well being.
I’m the wife of Charles Ferrell, mother of Juston and Adrian and granny to four spoiled brats who I love dearly. I’m a community volunteer, an avid bid whist player and most importantly a child of God! My best friend and I own a catering company, Just Set The Table. I love to travel, read and hang out with family and friends.
Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I retired in 1996 from Texaco after 28 years of service.
I’ve been a member of Sisters Sippin Tea Tulsa chapter for 13 years. I’m the clubs full time treasurer and part time Activities coordinator. Beside being a mother of three and a grandmother of 9 boys between the ages of 16-29, being a member of Sisters Sippin Tea has been an exciting chapter in my 71 year old life.
Delores Stephens Leach
Delores feels blessed to be a part of Sisters Sippin Tea Tulsa. She enjoys bonding with this amazing group of ladies while experiencing the love and joy of reading.
Delores retired from Williams Companies Inc. in April 2018 and was initially reluctant to do so. However, now she is living her best life and wondering why she didn’t retire sooner! She is enjoying the sweet reward of retirement by participating in weekly line dancing and cardio classes. Delores has also discovered another passion for ceramics. She enjoys traveling and plans to visit all the places she has on her bucket list.
Delores continues to use her finance skills by serving as the Treasurer of the Ostomy Club (a cancer support group). She began serving in this role when her late husband, Rickey Stephens, was diagnosed with cancer. Due to her dedication to and compassion for the members of the group, Delores has continued to serve in this role after Rickey passed away.
Delores has one daughter and three lovely grandchildren. Earlier this year she found love again and married Floyd Leach, thereby gaining another daughter and three more grandchildren for a total of six. Between her family and activities, she is living her best life!
I’m a wife, mother of two and grandmother of three.
I enjoy reading and spending time with friends.
You never know how strong she is until you put her in Hot water.
